Try Something New
Inspiration surges when we try something new. When we try a new food, whether we love it or don’t like it, we still feel inspired. Not only do we feel more adventurous and interesting, but we are discovering ourselves with every bite.
By knowing additional information about what we like and don’t like, we are furthering our connection with and understanding of ourselves. There’s so much we can learn about ourselves that we can never know unless we try something new! It seems simple, and it is! It’s a fun and easy shortcut to getting to know your true self.
How often can you try something new by challenging or delighting your five senses and experiencing new activities?
Some quick and easy ideas:
- Try a new recipe, spice, herb or sauce (what is marjoram, anyway?)
- Try frisbee golf (free!)
- Explore a new trail
- Be a tourist in the next town over
- Drop in to the first class of something you’ve never done before
- Try a new body wash scent
- Wear a color you never wear
- Paint your room a new color
- Try a new scented candle or car air freshener in your car
